Privacy Policy

Last updated: February 2026

In plain English: We only collect what you give us on our forms (name, phone, email, and the details you share about care needs or your job application). We use it to contact you back and to plan care. We don't sell it. We don't use tracking ads. You can ask us to delete it any time.
01

Who this policy applies to

This Privacy Policy explains how Incredible Health / HCA ("we", "us") handles personal information collected through this website. It applies to everyone who visits the site or submits information through our contact, home assessment, or careers forms.

We are based in British Columbia, Canada, and comply with the federal Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and BC's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

02

What information we collect

We only collect information you voluntarily give us through our forms:

Contact form: your name, phone, email, and message.

Home Assessment form: your name, phone, your relationship to the person needing care, the address where the visit will happen, your preferred date and time, and a short description of the care needed.

Careers / Get Hired form: your name, phone, email, experience level, availability, and any optional notes you add (such as certifications).

Automatically (technical): your browser sets standard connection info (IP address, browser type) with our hosting provider. We do not use analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies.

03

Why we collect it

We use the information you submit only for these purposes:

  • To contact you back and answer your questions
  • To schedule and prepare for your free home assessment
  • To evaluate caregiver applications and follow up with candidates
  • To improve our service (in aggregate, without identifying individuals)
  • To meet legal or regulatory obligations, if required

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers. Ever.

04

Where your information is stored

Your submissions are stored in a MongoDB database hosted through our web platform provider, Emergent. Data may be processed on servers located in Canada or the United States. Our email notifications are sent through Resend (a transactional email provider). Both providers are contractually required to protect your information in line with their published privacy policies.

05

Third parties that see your information

We share your information only with the following service providers, strictly to run this website and respond to you:

  • Emergent — website and database hosting
  • Resend — sends your form submission as an email notification to our team

We may also share information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of a person receiving care.

06

Cookies and local storage

We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. This site does use your browser's local storage for two small, non-tracking purposes:

  • To remember your preferred text size setting (A- / A+)
  • To remember whether you've closed the small background music player

You can clear this data at any time through your browser's settings, and it will not affect the core functionality of the site.

07

How long we keep your information

Contact and assessment inquiries are kept for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, so we can pick up where we left off if you reach back out. Caregiver applications are kept for up to 12 months after review. You can ask us to delete your information sooner at any time (see Section 9).

08

How we protect it

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), password-protected database access, and restricted staff access on a need-to-know basis. No system is 100% secure, but we take this seriously — especially given the vulnerability of the people whose care information you may share.

09

Your rights

Under Canadian and BC privacy law, you have the right to:

  • Ask what personal information we hold about you
  • Request a correction if something is wrong
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Withdraw your consent to future contact at any time
  • File a complaint with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or the BC Office of the Information and Privacy Commissioner if you feel we've mishandled your data

To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details at the bottom of this page.

10

Children

This website is not intended for use by anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has submitted information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.

11

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, if the change is significant, we'll notify people who have recent open inquiries with us.
